Hi there, I'm Joanne aka The Blissful Whisk!
I've been in the food and beverage business for over 40 years in one capacity or another! I worked many years in the restaurant business, did 10 years in an amazing specialty grocery store, owned a specialty food demonstration company, studied holistic nutrition, worked as a personal chef and ran a home delivery meal service, was a caterer throughout most all of this and have ended up here, baking gluten free granola and selling at farmers markets. My husband, Steve, is a huge help in so many ways and you'll find him out there at markets as well.
Our newest additions are a variety of gluten free baked goods and a cheese and charcuterie board program!
It's been a fun ride and I've met so many amazing people and learned so much. I love what I do and have a huge passion for anything food related, collecting cookbooks and entertaining friends. I love the way that food brings us together, creates memories and stories and teaches us about others.
As things have changed over the years and more people seem to have allergies and food sensitivities, it was important to me to use the cleanest ingredients I could find. I use Certified Gluten Free organic oats in all of my oat based products. I try to use as many organic ingredients as possible and I use organic maple syrup as sweetener. Most of my granola's are vegan.
